Bulldogs drop 78-70 to Southern New Hampshire, Saturday afternoon

Manchester, NH - Shannon Perry (Providence, RI) registered her 11th double-double of the year scoring 27 points and bringing down 15 rebounds. Southern New Hampshire would use a late run to hold off the Bulldogs and win the game 78-70. Bryant drops to 5-17 overall and 2-15 in the conference. The Penmen improve to 6-17 overall and 4-14 in NE-10 play.

Junior Joanna Skiba (Providence, RI) had 21 points on 8-16 shooting, but fouled out with six minutes to play in the game. Perry took over for the Bulldogs in the second half scoring 20 of her 27 points on 8-11 shooting.

The Penmen had five players in double figures with freshman Alyssa Whitney (Somerville, MA) leading the way with 18 points. Sara Tucker (Red Hook, NY) had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Southern New Hampshire in the win.

Bryant will return home on Tuesday to host Le Moyne with a tip time of 5:30.
