In Game One, junior Lindsay Connor (West Haven, CT) had the games biggest hit when she belted a two run triple to centerfield. Connor, being a savvy base runner would take home on the play when the pitcher was walking back to the mound.  The Bulldogs would add two more runs in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single by sophomore Jess Valentini (Cliffside Park, NJ).

That would be all the offense needed for the Bulldogs in game one as they received a stellar pitching performance from sophomore Janine Enos (Wareham, Mass.) who went the distance in earning her tenth victory of the season. She also had eight strikeouts.

The Purple Knights would get one run back in the top of the seventh as sophomore Maggie Russell (Wellesley, MA) and Elizabeth Pigeon (St. Albans, VT) led of the inning with a pair of singles. Senior Meagan Newland (East Burke, VT) knocked in a run with an RBI double. Pigeon and Russell each finished the game 2-3.

Game Two was scoreless until Saint Michael's broke it open in the top of the fourth inning scoring five times. After the first out was recorded, the Purple knights exploded for seven consecutive base hits. Junior Casey Brooks (Colchester, VT) had a two run double in the inning. Maggie Russell led the team going 4-4 with two runs scored in the contest. The Purple Knights had four players with two RBI's in the game.

Bryant got three runs back in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI by freshman Kate Thomas (Bedford, NH) and an RBI single by junior Lauren McNiff (Westford, MA). Saint Michael's added two more runs in the top of the seventh to win game two by the score of 8-3. Meggan Roberge (Sheldon Springs, VT) went 3-3 with a run scored for the Purple Knights.
