The fourth ranked Bulldogs split a pair of games this afternoon
with Saint Michael's at the Bryant Softball Complex. With the win
in game one, the Bulldogs have clinched the program's first ever
regular season Northeast-10 Conference title. Bryant took game one,

That would be all the offense needed for the Bulldogs in game

Janine Enos
(Wareham,
Mass.) who went the distance in
earning her tenth victory of the season. She also had eight
strikeouts.
The Purple Knights would get one run back in the top of the
seventh as sophomore Maggie Russell
(Wellesley,

of singles. Senior Meagan Newland (East
Burke, VT)
knocked in a run with an RBI double. Pigeon and Russell each
finished the game 2-3.
Game Two was scoreless until Saint Michael's broke it open in
the top of the fourth inning scoring five times. After the first
out was recorded, the Purple knights exploded for seven consecutive
base hits. Junior Casey Brooks
(Colchester,
VT) had a two run double in the
inning. Maggie Russell led the team going 4-4 with two runs scored
in the contest. The Purple Knights had four players with two RBI's
in the game.

more runs in the top of the seventh to win game two by the score of
8-3. Meggan Roberge (Sheldon
Springs,
