SMITHFIELD, R.I.. - The Bryant Women's Soccer team dropped its
second straight game, despite co-captain Casey Grange's
(Methuen, Mass.) eighth goal of the season.
Junior Lauren Boyd scored four goals and added an assist for the
Skyhawks. Kelley Harper added a goal and two assists for Stonehill
(1-1-1, 1-1-1 NE-10)
Trailing 2-0 in the first half, Tricia Spada (Dedham,
Mass.) scored on a penalty kick in the 29th minute to
bring the Bulldogs within one.
Grange scored 24 seconds after Harper made it 4-2.
The Bulldogs (4-2-0, 2-1-0 NE-10) look to snap their two-game
losing streak Saturday against 22nd ranked Franklin
Pierce (1 p.m.).
