O'KEEFE'S DOUBLE-DOUBLE LEADS BRYANT TO
60-51 ROAD WIN OVER UMASS LOWELL SATURDAY

LOWELL, MASS. -- Led by sophomore Kelsey O'Keefe's
fourth double-double of the season (15 points, 12 rebounds),
the Bryant University women's basketball team topped UMass Lowell,
60-51, Saturday afternoon at the Costello Athletic Center.
The Riverhawks (9-10, 4-10 Northeast-10) saw Bryant (13-6, 8-6)
convert 24 points off 19 Lowell turnovers, while the Bulldogs gave
the ball up just eight times and shot 47 percent in the second half
to overcome Lowell's 27-25 lead at the half.
Lowell
outrebounded the Bulldogs, 42-36, on the day but fell to 29 percent
shooting in the second frame, allowing the Bulldogs to lead by as
many as 12 points early in the second half.
O'Keefe's (Warren, Mass.) 15 points
led the game, while freshman Siamone Bennett (Newburgh,
NY) chipped in two new career highs with her
13 points and nine boards in 23 minutes of play to help
Bryant to its second-straight victory. The Riverhawks were led
by Antonnea Robinson's 13 points.
The Bryant women round out January play on Sat., Jan. 30 when
they face off against Saint Anselm at 5:30 p.m. at the Chace
Athletic Center. Bryant is 1-0 against the Hawks this season,
posting a 79-70 overtime win on the road Nov. 20.
