MEN'S TENNIS WRAPS UP FALL SEASON AT LEHIGH INVITATIONAL
Bulldogs Return To Action with Brown and Buffalo in
January
The Bryant University men's tennis team wrapped up its fall
season competing at the Lehigh Fall Tennis Championships over the
weekend. Searching for more Division I competition, the Bulldogs
turned in several excellent performances with Cristian Balestrieri
and Juan Paredes each going 3-0 on the weekend.
The duo posted wins against Delaware's No. 1 and No. 2
singles players respectively and team up for two wins in doubles
action against Delaware and Lehigh.
Tom Nowak and Nicholai Hill went 2-1 in doubles action Saturday,
earning a win over Delaware and Lehigh's Silbert and Pacheco
(8-4).
Kevin Gardiner, Dylan Whiting, Dan Cournoyer and Andres Orobitg all
played well only to come up short in their matches.
The tournament brings to a close the fall portion of the
men's tennis schedule as the Bulldogs will resume play with
dual matches against Brown and Buffalo in January.
