BRYANT WOMEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS PUERTO RICO – RIO

SAN JUAN, P.R. – The Bryant University
women's tennis team picked up a 7-0 win over the University
of Puerto Rico – Rio Piedras Monday in the first match of
their Spring Break trip. The Bulldogs got a strong
performance at No. 1 singles as Claudia Hidalgo defeated Maria
Pacheco 6-2, 6-1 while Valeria Couto Cuervo knocked off Carol
Fernandez 6-4, 6-4.
The Bulldogs will face East Carolina Tuesday and Buffalo
Thursday.
