SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Freshman Ben Schulte (Mermaid Beach, Australia) set two meet records and the Bryant University men's swimming and diving team set two more relay records as they won the Harold Anderson Invitational for the first time in program history.

The Bulldogs finished the two day event with 865.50 points, over 50 points more than second-place Maine.

Schulte was absolutely dominant on Saturday, setting meet records in the 100  and 200 breast. Schulte won the 100 breast with a time of 57.73 and the 200 breast with a time of 2:06.56. He also finished second in the 400 IM with a time of 4:10.63.

Bryant went on to set meet records in the 400 medley relay and the 400 free relay. In the 400 medley, Colin Curtin (Wethersfield, Conn.), Graham Beck (Danvers, Mass.), Joshua Bjornberg (Wallingford, Conn.) and Schulte combined for their second meet record of the invitational. They finished with a time of 3:30.02. In the 400 free relay, Schulte, Benon Boyadjian (Middlebury, Conn.), Beck and Pierre Le Guyader (East Islip, N.Y.) combined to win the event with a meet-record time of 3:10.21. Bryant swept the relay events for the weekend, setting meet records in all four.

Individually, Curtin went on to finish third in the 100 back with a time of 54.80. Beck added a top-10 finish in the 200 free, finishing fifth with a time of 1:47.77. Jonathan Brodeur (Old Saybrook, Conn.) and George Sommerville (Pittsfield, Mass.) finished 5-6 in the 100 breast with times of 1:02.82 and 1:03.10, respectively.

Kyle Koziol (Farmington, Conn.) finished sixth in the 100 back and Robert Beauchemin (Holliston, Mass.) finished eighth. Beauchemin went on to finish ninth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:39.79. Andrew Neggia (Ramsey, N.J.) and Brendan Miller-Radest (Chatham, N.J.) both performed well in the 200 fly, finishing 4-5 with times of 2:01.66 and 2:03.63, respectively.
