SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Junior Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) and freshman Leanne Kendall (Lakeville, Mass.) each won a pair of matches on the final day of the Army Invitational.

How it Happened

·        Playing in the consolation round of the D flight, Gottlieb opened with an 8-1 victory over Andrea Rojo from St. Francis Brooklyn. Gottlieb then defeated Marist's Jada Tijani, 8-2.

·        Kendall played in the same flight as Gottlieb and posted an opening victory over Quinnipiac's Alexandra Mircea, 8-0. She followed that up with an 8-5 victory over St. Bonaventure's Emily Stanley.

·        Junior Gabrielle Bergeron (Quebec, Canada) also competed on Sunday, falling to Buse Gunay from St. Bonaventure, 8-6.
