HOW IT HAPPENED (DOUBLES)
- No. 1 – Remi Ramos and Lily Burchell were able to win at No. 1, 6-1.
- No. 2 – Iryna Kostirko and Emily Kim were able to get past Linnea Sjoberg (Stockholm, Sweden) and Nina Luiggi (Nottingham, England), 6-4.
- No. 3 – Dani Blaser and Katya Martens picked up a 6-2 win in the third spot.
HOW IT HAPPENED (SINGLES)
- No. 1 – Senior Ashanti Campfield (Stratford, Conn.) battled for two sets before falling, 6-4, 6-3.
- No. 2 – Ramos won in straight-sets, 6-1, 6-2.
- No. 3 – Burchell picked up a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
- No. 4 – Senior Stefanie Arroyo (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) took Kim to three sets before falling. Arroyo won the first set, 6-2, but Kim came back to win the final two, 7-5, 10-7.
- No. 5 – Martens was able to get past Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.), 6-0, 6-2.
- No. 6 – Gabrielle Bergeron (Quebec, Canada) took Clara Falxa to three sets as well. Falxa won the first set, 6-2, Bergeron took the second, 6-4, but Falxa won the deciding third set, 10-5.
