SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The second-seeded Bryant University women's tennis team advanced to the Northeast Conference semifinals with a dominant 5-0 win over seventh-seeded Wagner College on Friday afternoon in New Jersey.
Bryant will now face sixth-seeded Mount St. Mary's, a 4-3 winner over third-seeded Saint Francis U, on Saturday afternoon. The match will not begin before 12:30 p.m.

How it happened (Doubles)
- Bryant dominated at No. 2 and No. 3 to clinch the doubles point. Seniors Linnea Sjoberg (Stockholm, Sweden) and Nina Luiggi (Nottingham, England) won 6-0, while redshirt freshman Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) and sophomore Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) won 6-2.

- The Bulldogs clinched the match with wins at each of the final four singles spots. Matches at No. 1 and No. 2 went unfinished.
- Senior Stefanie Arroyo (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3, Luiggi won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4, freshman Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 and Tan won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6.
