SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's tennis team returns to the courts this weekend, competing in the Army Invitational and the Providence Invite.
The Bulldogs will send eight to the Army Invite, while four will compete in Providence.

- Bryant opened the fall at the Quinnipiac Invitational two weekends ago.
- Sophomore Leanne Kendall (Lakeville, Mass.) and freshman Manuela Gomez Estrada (Guayaquil, Ecuador) won the B doubles flight with a perfect 4-0 record.
- Kendall went on to post a 2-1 record in singles play.
- Gomez Estrada advanced to the consolation final of the D flight, finishing the weekend 2-2.
- Sophomore Sarah Hickey (Toronto, Ont.) and senior Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) each advanced to their respective consolation finals.
