GENEVA, OH- The Bryant swim and dive teams started off strong on the opening day of the NEC Championships, sweeping the 800 free relay gold medals.

Coach Cameron's Comments: "Perfect way to start the meet, we had a lot of awesome swims tonight! It's always exciting to set a meet and team record, proud of all!"

The men's team of Alex Rowson, FuKang Wong, Conner Lofstrom, and Chase Konstantakos won gold and set new program and meet records in the 800 free relay with a time of 6:39.50. The women's team of Erin Doruska, Alyvia Beaudion, Reagan Lord, and Paige Edwards won gold with a time of 7:38.79.

The Bulldogs will return tomorrow with prelims and finals for the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, 200 medley relay, and men's three meter dive.
