Beasley shines in loss to UMass

AMHERST, MA. - The Bryant University women's swimming and diving team fell to the UMass Minutewomen in Saturday's contest by a score of 181-88.

Diver Megan Beasley led the way for the Bulldogs with her victories in both the 1 meter and 3 meter events.

Notes and Notables

  • Beasley picked up her second and third events wins on the season Saturday morning. Beasley took the 1m event with a score of 246.15 and the 3m with a 233.33.
  • Makayla Pearce and Natalia Kuiper went 1-2 in the 1000 yard freestyles race with times of 10:36.31 and 10:51.06, respectively. They were the only two competitors who swam under 11 minutes in that race.
  • Bryant tallied seven second place finishes on the day as well.
