SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant men's basketball team heads to Arizona on Monday afternoon to face Grand Canyon. Tip is set for 8:00 p.m EST.
Monday's game will stream on ESPN+. It will be the Bulldogs' final game of the 2024 calendar year and their last contest before the start of conference play.

THE SERIES
- Bryant and Grand Canyon are meeting for the first time in program history.
- This is the Bulldogs first matchup with a team from the Grand Canyon State since 2011 when they played the University of Arizona. Bryant would fall 100-60 in that contest.
BRYANT FALLS TO TOWSON
- Bryant fell by a final score of 70-65 to Towson on Dec. 22 in Baltimore, Md. The Tigers held a 44-33 advantage in rebounds as well as a 34-26 edge in points in the paint .
- Earl Timberlake led all scorers with 23 points on 10-of-21 shooting. He also had seven rebounds, four assists and a block.
- Barry Evans would also have a solid performance, finishing with 18 points on 7-of-16 shooting including 3-of-7 from three.
TIMBERLAKE JOINS THE 1,000 POINT CLUB
- Sunday's game would also see Timberlake become just the 10th player in DI program history to eclipse 1,000 points donning the Black and Gold. Timberlake now has 1,018 points at Bryant and 1,218 points in his collegiate career.
- Timberlake is the first Bulldog player since Sherif Gross-Bullock (2023-24) to cross the 1,000 point threshold at Bryant.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- Monday will be Bryant's final non-conference game of the 2024-25 season. The Bulldogs are currently 6-8 on the season; earning victories over DI opponents Buffalo, Delaware, Tennessee State, and Drexel.
- Earl Timberlake posted his second-straight 20-point game, his third of the year and 12th of his career. He has scored 18+ points in each of his last five games and is currently tied for the lead in the America East for assists; averaging 4.9 assists per game.
- Rafael Pinzon leads the conference with 18.8 ppg and is currently ranked fifth nationally in three-point field goal percentage. Pinzon has missed Bryant's previous two games.
- Barry Evans is Bryant's third leading scorer, averaging 13.1 ppg on the year. Evans finished in double figures for the 12th time this year with 18 points at Towson. He also tallied six rebounds and two steals.
- Keyshawn Mitchell collected eight points and seven boards, while Kvonn Cramer added seven points and four boards at Towson.
