Coaches comments on the loss…

"We started very well today and were very deserving of our 1-0 lead. As the game wore on, we strayed away from our best soccer and didn't recover our top level until the last 10 minutes. We pushed hard for a tying goal but the best we could do was hit the crossbar. These past two games are teaching us the importance of maintaining consistency for the full 90 minutes as well as how to do that."

Key Moment

  • Merrimack's Jillian Golden finished a pass from Julia Ostermann to give the Warriors the lead they needed to win the game.

Scoring Summary

  • 35th minute - Bryant 1, Merrimack 0 - In only her second game of the season, Ava Feeley fought off Merrimack defenders to pass the ball to Ali Mokriski who then took a shot on goal. The shot was originally saved by the keeper but Mokriski was able to tap it in to get the first points on the board.

  • 36th minute - Bryant 1, Merrimack 1 - In quick response, Merrimack's Lauren Boughner was able to intercept a pass between two Bulldogs and dribble the ball to the edge of the 18 and send a shot into the net.
