Earl Timberlake's fifth double-double of the year powered the Bryant men's basketball team to an 81-55 victory over the University of Maine on Saturday afternoon in at the Chace Athletic Center.
With the win, the Bulldogs open conference play at 1-0 and move to 7-9 on the year. Bryant is back home next Saturday, January 11, to take on the University of Vermont. Tip is set for 4:00 p.m.
Timberlake recorded a double-double for the Bulldogs with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while
Barry Evans added 18 points of his own; going 7-10 from the field.
Kvonn Cramer would put up double figures with 11 points, along with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.

- The Black Bears would start off the game on a 12-6 run. Maine's AJ Lopez would have 8 of their first points.
- Maine would lead 18-10 before Barry Evans would pour in five straight points and Kvonn Cramer would knock down a three pointer to tie the score at 18 heading into the under 12 media. The spurt would start a 28-4 run that gave the Bulldogs a 38-22 lead.
- Earl Timberlake would then proceed to drill a three and Jakai Robinson would knock down a jumper to give Bryant a one point advantage at the under 8 media.
- Bryant would go on an 8-2 run which featured an nice finish under the basket by Barry Evans.
- The Bulldogs would go into the half with a 38-25 lead. Barry Evans would have 13 pts in the first half.
- Bryant would come out of the break and go on a 13-0 run; holding Maine scoreless through the first 6 minutes of the second half.
