SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's swimming and diving team delivered a commanding performance on Halloween, defeating Providence College 201–87 in front of a packed home crowd at the Chace Athletic Center Pool.
Coach Lettie's Comments on the Win:
"The full team showed up, men and women", Coach Lettie said.
"The energy was unmatched, and having the marching band and dance team on deck made it an experience you just don't see anywhere else. Nights like this remind us how special this program is — the pride, the grit, the unity. Our team raced for each other, and the result speaks for itself."
The Bulldogs wasted no time setting the tone, taking first place in the 400 medley relay behind the efforts of
Zach Proulx,
Aidan Trenery, Tim Andrews, and
Arthur Newton.
Bryant's diving unit dominated both boards, as
Christopher Buonocore swept the one- and three-meter events, with teammate
Lincoln Busa taking second in each to secure maximum points for the Bulldogs.

In the pool,
Nick Andrews continued his strong form, earning wins in the 200 and 100 freestyle events, while
Arthur Newton claimed first in the 100 backstroke and added runner-up points in the 100 free.
James Misto added to the highlight reel with victories in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, leading a Bulldog sweep in both races.

Jack Ferguson grabbed the win in the 100 breaststroke, and
Nick Austin followed later with a first-place finish in the 200 breaststroke.
Aidan Trenery and Tim Andrews placed second and third in the 200 butterfly, giving Bryant another clean sweep on the night.

Patrick O'Hagan coming in third.
1000 Freestyle:
Bryant capped its performance with a dominant showing in the 200 freestyle relay, taking first place.
The Bulldogs move to 2–2 on the season after another convincing victory and will continue nonconference action next weekend.
