ALBANY, N.Y. – Jette Kurz scored four goals to lift No. 3 seed UAlbany to a 6-1 victory over the No. 6 seed Bryant field hockey team in the America East Quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field.
With the loss, the Bulldogs close the season with a 4-14 record. Bryant was making its first postseason appearance since the 2016 season.
Megan Smith scored Bryant's lone goal off an assist from
Claire Joss.
