SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University football team, in conjunction with CAA football, released the 12-game schedule for the 2026 season.

Schedule Highlights

• This is the third consecutive season Bryant will play 12 games.
• This will be the first matchup between the Black and Gold and FBS Army.
• First time in DI program history the Bulldogs have begun the season with three straight road games.
• The Bulldogs will heads to Easton, Mass., to face Stonehill for the first time since Oct. 14, 2006.
• Bryant plays Princeton for the first time since 2023, when the Black and Gold defeated the Tigers 16-13 in New Jersey.
• Princeton is the first Ivy League team to play at Beirne Stadium other than Brown.
• The Bulldogs will play Brown for the tenth time. Eight of the last nine matchups have been decided by one possession. 
• Bryant renews its rivalry with Sacred Heart as the two teams will meet for the first time since 2021.

The Bulldogs begin the 2026 season with a short trip to Massachusetts to face Stonehill in the season opener on Aug. 29. The Black and Gold will then travel to New York, where they will face Army on Sep. 5. Bryant will have a third straight road game when they begin CAA play versus Hampton on Sep.12.

The Bulldogs will then play their first game of the season at Beirne Stadium when they welcome Princeton (Sep. 19). The two teams last met in 2023, with Bryant earning a 16-13 victory on the road. Bryant then has a bye (Sep. 26), before staying in Smithfield to face North Carolina A&T (Oct. 3).

The Black and Gold then have back-to-back road games with intrastate rival Brown (Oct. 10), followed by a conference game in Orono against Maine (Oct. 17). 

Bryant concludes the month of October with a home game against Stony Brook (Oct. 24) and a road trip to New Jersey versus Monmouth (Oct. 31) on Halloween.

The Bulldogs then play two of the final three games of the season at Beirne Stadium: a home game against UAlbany (Nov. 7), a road game against former rival Sacred Heart (Nov. 14), and the final game of the regular season in Smithfield against Rhode Island (Nov. 21).
