CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. – The Bryant University women's basketball team defeated Boston College 80-71 on the road, for the first win over a Power 4 program in DI program history.
Mia Mancini recorded 28 points,
Maranda Nyborg had 18,
Mimi Rubino posted 15, and
Nia Scott tallied 11.
The Bulldogs now have eight out-of-conference wins to begin the season, which is the most in DI program history.

- The Bulldogs jumped out to an 11-4 lead in the game's first four minutes, capped off by back-to-back three pointers from Mimi Rubino, forcing an Eagles timeout.
- Both teams scored seven points, giving the Black and Gold a seven-point advantage after one (18-11).
- Each team matched each other again, recording ten points each, maintaining a seven-point lead (28-21) for Bryant with under four left in the first half. Mia Mancini knocked down her second three-pointer off a stop on defense, leading to a transition triple before the media timeout.
- BC would climb, back closing the first half on an 8-4 run. Shrinking the Bulldogs' lead to 32-29 at the half. Mancini hit her third three of the half in the quarter, and ended the first half with 11 points.
- BC would go on a quick 4-0 run to start the third quarter, and then the Bulldogs countered with a 13-0 run, giving the Black and Gold a 45-33 lead at the 4:31 mark of the third quarter. Bryant forced four turnovers during the run, and Rubino hit a wide-open wing three, followed by a Maranda Nyborg layup, at the media timeout.
- The Bulldogs kept their foot on the gas, ending the third quarter on a 12-10 run. This included an 8-4 run in the final minute, where Oliva Fernandez dove for a steal and found Nia Scott for an easy lay-in (57-43).
