Landon White Delivers a Pitch for Bourne

#SUMMERDAWGS WRAP UP

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- It was another exciting summer for Bryant baseball players across the country. Below is a look at how the returning members of the Bulldogs did this summer.

Dylan Scudder - Cotuit Kettelers (Cape Cod League)
  • Scudder made nine relief appearances for Cotuit, tossing 11.2 innings.
  • He posted a 0.77 ERA, allowing just two runs (one earned) on 11 hits.
Jackson Vanesko - Falmouth Commodores (Cape Cod League)
  • Vanesko made eight relief apperances for Falmouth, tossing 15.0 innings.
  • He went 2-0 with a save and a 4.80 ERA.
Landon White - Bourne Braves (Cape Cod League)
  • White won a Cape League title with Bourne. He appeared in 10 games for the Braves.
  • He went 2-2 in 18.0 innings of relief. White allowed just 15 hits and struck out 19 batters.
Gavin Greger - Ocean State Waves/Falmouth Commodores (NECBL/Cape)
  • Greger started his summer in the NECBL, earn an All-Star nod after hitting .305 (50-164) with 14 doubles, 20 RBI, 20 runs scored and 24 stolen bases.
  • He then signed a contract with Falmouth on the Cape and went 3-for-15 in four games. Greger stole two bases.
Kaden Hilburger - Danbury Westerners/Brewster Whitecaps (NECBL/Cape)
  • Hilburger also started in the NECBL before spending the last week of the summer on the Cape. This summer also represented Hilburger's first mound work since the 2024 spring season.
  • He appeared in seven games and made four starts for Danbury, going 0-2 with a 3.78 ERA in 19.0 innings. Hilburger struck out 26 batters, walked only 11 and allowed just 16 hits.
  • Hilburger then started Brewster's final game of the regular season, allowing three runs on six hits over 4.1 innings. He didnt walk a batter and struck out three.
Brandyn Durand - Ocean State Waves (NECBL)
  • Durand appeared in 32 games for Ocean State, collecting four doubles, two home runs and 13 RBI.
Justin Hackett - Ocean State Waves (NECBL)
  • Hackett appeared in 38 games for Ocean State, posting seven home runs and 17 RBI. His seven home runs were the sixth-most in the league.
Sean Zaslaw - North Shore Navigators (NECBL)
  • Zaslaw had a dominant summer for North Shore, tossing 14.2 scoreless innings over eight appearances.
  • He allowed just eight hits, struck out 15 and walked two.
Liam Chamberlain - Mystic Schooners (NECBL)
  • Chamberlain made nine relief appearances for Mystic, striking out 20 in 13.0 innings.
  • He posted a 2.08 ERA and allowed just four walks on the summer.
Michael Belcher - Bristol Blues (NECBL)
  • Belcher made the most of his three starts for Bristol, going 3-0 with a 2.40 ERA.
  • He struck out 15 and issued just three walks in 15.0 innings.
Zac Zyons - Ocean State Waves (NECBL)
  • Zyons appeared in just six games for Ocean State before missing the remainder of the summer.
Owen Birchard - Auburn Doubledays (PGCBL)
  • Birchard made seven starts for Auburn, going 2-1 with a 2.82 ERA.
  • He struck out 52, walked 13 and allowed just 28 hits in 38.1 innings. Birchard struck out 10 and allowed just one hit over 6.1 scoreless in his final start of the summer.
Cam Papetti - Worcester Bravehearts (FCBL)
  • Papetti hit .370 (10-27) with four doubles, a triple, two home runs and seven RBI in nine games for Worcester.
Hunter Kingsbury - Vermont Lake Monsters (FCBL)
  • Kingsbury was selected to the All-Star game and finished the summer hitting .306 (60-196) for Vermont.
  • He posted eight doubles, four triples, two home runs, 26 RBI and 34 runs scored.
Zach Davis - Vermont Lake Monsters (FCBL)
  • Davis made 17 relief appearances for Vermont, finishing 1-1 with two saves and a 4.56 ERA.
  • He struck out 26 and walked 16 in 23.2 innings.
Ty Davis - New Britain Bees (FCBL)
  • Davis made 15 appearances (six starts) from New Britain. He went 1-2 with one save and a 2.70 ERA.
  • Davis struck out 24 in 40.0 innings. In two playoff starts, Davis posted a 0.75 ERA in 9.1 innings.
Billy Mulholland - Essex Legends (ACBL)
  • Mulholland appeared in eight games (four starts) for Essex. He went 2-1 and struck out 20 batters in 15.2 innings.
Thomas Maher - Essex Legends (ACBL)
  • Maher appeared in eight games (two starts) for Essex. He struck out 24 and allowed just 16 hits in 21.2 innings.
Alejandro Vasquez - Fort Lauderdale Hooks (SFCBL)
  • Vasquez earned All-Star honors in the South Florida League, finishing the year with a .392 (20-51) average and four doubles. He scored 12 runs.
