KINGSTON, R.I. — The Bryant University women's soccer team lost in a hard-fought defensive battle against Rhode Island Thursday evening, 2-0.

Coach Biggs' Comments:
"I thought we worked hard and kept fighting tonight but our execution in attack was poor," Coach Biggs said.
"When we won the ball, we struggled to connect passes and build a sustained attack and so were continually forced to defend for long stretches. Going into the half at 0-0, we tried to reset, but the second half was a lot like the first except we could not manage to keep them from scoring for another 45 minutes."
