MEN’S SOCCER SLATED TO COMPETE IN FIRST ANNUAL NORTHEAST SPRING CUP

DURHAM, N.H. – The Bryant University men's soccer team has been named one of the eight New England programs slated to compete in the Northeast Spring Cup, a spring collegiate soccer tournament.

The tournament will including eight participating institutions representing the ACC, America East, Big East, Patriot League and Summit League. Bryant, Boston College, Boston University, Providence, UConn, UMass Amherst, New Hampshire and Vermont will be featured in the action.

Teams will be divided into groups of four. Each team will play one leg against each division opponent for a total of three matches. The top team from each group will advance to the championship final with the remaining teams playing a fourth match to determine the remaining placements. The Black and Gold went 3-0 against their upcoming opponents during the fall season.

Bryant will start their spring campaign at Providence on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Bulldogs will host UConn for their lone home game on March 28. The last game of the group stage will be on the road against UMass Amherst on April 11.
