BRENTWOOD, T.N. - Jenelle Valera was named the OVC golfer of the week, announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon.

This is the first time a Bulldog has received the award this season.

Valera had an impressive showing at the Babs Steffens Invitational in Orlando, securing a top 20 finish in the individual leaderboard. She finished with a final score of +18 with rounds of (76, 75, 80). Her round of 75 is her lowest round this season.

The senior has now led the Bulldogs in four out of their five tournaments this season.

The Bulldogs will have another tournament in Orlando with the Le Moyne Orange Tree Invitational at the Orange Tree Golf Club on March 9.
