CLENDENIN GOES DEEP AS BRYANT SPLITS AGAINST MERCER

MACON, GA. – Bryce Clendenin hit a two-run home run in the Bryant University softball team's 6-2 victory over Mercer in game one of the doubleheader on Saturday.
 
The Bulldogs fell to Mercer in game two, 8-0.

How it Happened (GM1)
  • Arriana Williams drew a walk and then Bryce Clendenin launched a two-run home run in the top of the first (2-0).
  • In the top of the fourth inning, Teagan Thompson was walked, and Gabriella Gesualdo reached on an error. The Bulldogs then scored on two fielders' choices (4-0). Arlisenny Rodriguez and Jaiden McKenna then executed a double steal for the third run of the inning (5-0). The Black and Golds' final run of the inning came off the bat of Laniya Lewis, who knocked an RBI single (6-0).
  • The Bears tallied two runs in the bottom of the fifth on a solo HR and RBI-single (6-2).
