• Emerged as one of the key arms out of Bryant's bullpen.
• Appeared in 22 games ... Finished 2-1 with a 4.55 ERA in 27.2 innings.
• Walked 11 and struck out 24 ... Held opponents to a .230 average.
• Allowed 11 runs over his first seven outings (7.2 innings).
• Rebounded to allow just five runs (4ER) over his last 15 outings (20.0 innings) ... 20.0 IP, 8H, 5R, 4ER, 9BB, 16SO.
• Recorded scoreless outings vs Merrimack, UMBC and Brown to get the stretch started.
• Retired all 12 batters he faced in a three-outing stretch vs Binghamton (4/13), Rhode Island (4/16) and UMass Lowell (4/19).
• Earned his first win with 2.0 scoreless vs Merrimack (4/30).
• Dominated in the postseason, tossing 7.1 scoreless innings of relief.
• Earned the win in the America East Tournament winner's bracket final with 2.1 innings of scoreless relief vs UMBC.
• Came back the next day and recorded the final three outs to win the America East Championship.
• Matched his career high in the NCAA Regional vs James Madison, striking out four over 4.0 scoreless innings.

2023 (Junior)

• Appeared in 12 games ... Finished 1-0 with a 6.27 ERA in 18.2 innings ... Struck out 23 and walked 11
• Made collegiate debut at Brown, striking out two in a scoreless inning
• 2.0 innings, 0H, 1R at Merrimack
• Struck out three and allowed one hit in 3.0 innings of relief at URI
• Scoreless inning of relief at UConn
• Struck out five and allowed just one run on one hit over 2.2 innings vs UMBC
• 4.0 innings of relief vs UAlbany
• Earned his first collegiate win with a scoreless 13th inning in an extra-inning win vs Binghamton.

Scamardella played two seasons of varsity baseball at Xaverian in Brooklyn, N.Y. ... Hit .320 as a junior ... MVP of the 2018 team and the Iron Clipper Award winner in 2020 ... Also lettered in basketball ... National Honor Society.
