A three-sport standout and a member of the varsity baseball team at Fort Ann since eighth grade … Helped the Cardinals win a Class D New York State Championship as an eighth-grader and again as a senior in 2017 … Named the New York State Class D Player of the Year as a senior in 2017 ... Went 9-0 with a 0.36 ERA and struck out 111 batters in 58 innings ... Led the Cardinals to the Class D semi-finals as a sophomore and two more trips to the Section 2 finals … Earned All-Star and All-League honors in each of the last four seasons … Second Team All-State as a sophomore … League MVP, First Team All-State as a junior … Tied the New York State Record for the lowest ERA in a season at 0.00 … Named the Capital Region Small School Athlete of the Year as a junior … Played with the Glens Falls Dragons in the Perfect Game Collegiate League in the summer of 2017 ... Went 3-2 and struck out 41 batters in 28 2/3 innings and was named one of the league's top prospects ...
