As a senior: Drafted in the 23rd round (686th overall) by the Miami Marlins in the MLB Amateur Draft ... Wrapped up storied career with another outstanding performance ... Moved into starting rotation and went 2-3 with a 4.33 ERA in 15 appearances, nine starts ... Struck out 53 in 62.1 innings pitched ... Saved the best performance of his career for last, tossing 8.1 gutsy innings against Sacred Heart to force the "if neccessary" game in the NEC Tournament ... Allowed two runs on six hits, walked two and struck out seven batters in a career-high 8.1 innings ... Made his first collegiate start on Feb. 21 at UTSA ... Allowed one run on three hits and struck out seven over five innings ... Struck out eight over five innings in his next start against Liberty ... He struck out four and allowed just two hits against the Eagles ... Earned his first collegiate save against Quinnipiac (Apr. 21) with two innings of scoreless relief ... Before Bryant: A 2011 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y., Lacosse played two years of varsity baseball for the Brothers ... Helped CBA to a division championship as a senior, tossing two no-hitters on the year ... Also a member of the South Troy Dodgers amateur travel baseball team that won a regional championship and advanced to the Connie Mack World Series.
