Jessica Antelmi enters her second season on the Bryant staff in 2020.
Antelmi was integral to an improved performance from the Bulldogs' draw unit in her first season in Smithfield, as Bryant rose from 47th in the nation in draw controls per game (13.44) to 16th in 2019 (15.35). Bryant recorded seven of its top nine single-game individual performances in its Division I history in 2019, with six coming from senior Lauren Britton, who was the first Bulldog in program history to collect 100 draw controls in a season. The Bulldogs also rose in the national rankings in assists per game, from 67th in 2018 (4.44) to 38th in 2019 (5.82).
Prior to Bryant, Antelmi spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons at Boston University. While at BU, the Terriers offense averaged 11.8 goals per game en route to a league semifinal berth in 2018. Boston University finished 10-8 on the regular season and 5-4 in the Patriot League before bowing out to eventual league champ Loyola.
In her first season with the Terriers, her offense averaged 12.4 goals per game over the course of the year. She also mentored one of the nation’s best passers, Kailey Conry, who finished second in the country in assists per game.
Antelmi arrived in Boston from Le Moyne, where she helped the Dolphins to back-to-back national semifinal appearances in 2015 and 2016. She coached seven first-team IWLCA All-Americans in her two years in Syracuse, including 2015 IWLCA Attacker of the Year Erica Geremia. Le Moyne went 36-7 in Antelmi's two seasons on the staff.
The Bridgeport, New York, native began her coaching career at SUNY Cortland in 2014, where she assisted the Red Dragons to a 22-1 record and Division III national semifinal appearance. Antelmi coached IWLCA Attacker of the Year Erica Geremia at Cortland.
A 2013 graduate of the University at Albany, Antelmi helped lead the Great Danes to back-to-back America East Championships in 2011 and 2012, leading to two NCAA tournament appearances. Antelmi earned America East All-Tournament honors and IWLCA All-Region recognition as a senior captain.
