Ammendola attended Farmingdale High School and has played 1st singles on his varsity tennis team since 7th grade ... Captain and team MVP since freshman year ... All-County in singles freshman and senior year, and in doubles as a junior ... Represented the Eastern Region in San Diego Junior World Team Tennis in 2017 where the team placed 5th in the whole tournament.

The son of Ignazio Ammendola and Kelly David-Ammendola... Has one sister, Devlin ... Devlin was a member of the Bryant women's tennis program from 2011-15.
