Bryant University Field Hockey falls 4-1 to 8th ranked

NEW HAVEN,Conn. –Senior Cathy Cardini (Willington,Conn.)
scored three goals to lead 8TH -ranked Southern
Connecticut State University (10-4-0/10-2-0 NE-10) to a 4-1 win
over the Bryant University Bulldogs (4-11-0/3-10-0 NE-10) Wednesday
afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference field hockey match at Jess
Dow Field.
Ashley Miranda
(Tiverton,
R.I.) scored the only goal for
the Bulldogs, assisted by Maureen Burns
(Derry, N.H.). The goal
for Miranda was her second on the season. Burns improves her point
total to 14 including four goals and six assists which is good for
second on the team.
The Bulldogs stay on the road and will play Saint Anselm on
Thursday, October 13 at 4:00pm. This will be a non-conference
match.
