Women's Lacrosse Downs AIC 18-7 Behind Leddy's Five Goals

Women's Lacrosse Defeats AIC Tuesday

SPRINGFIELD, MASS - Shaun Leddy scored five goals while Caitlin Hansen added three goals to help lead the Bryant University women's lacrosse team to its second-straight win, 18-7 over AIC Tuesday afternoon.

Bryant raced out to a 12-4 lead at the half as Leddy scored all four of her goals in the first 30 minutes.  Bryant led 5-0 to start before the Yellow Jackets got on the board with a goal nine minutes into the game.

Hansen opened the second half with a pair of goals while Amanda Gallant followed with an unassisted tally to give Bryant a 15-4 lead and the Bulldogs were never threatened.

Freshman Delia Glover had two goals in the game while Ashley Fabrizio finished with a game-high five caused turnovers.  

The Bulldogs host Assumption Thursday afternoon.
