#25 Women's Soccer Ties C.W. Post 1-1

WORCESTER, MA.
- The Bryant women's soccer team, ranked 25th in the
nation, rallied for a 1-1 tie Friday afternoon with C.W. Post
in the first game of the Garden Inn Friendly at Assumption College.
Holly Tyser (Somers, CT) continued her strong
start to the season scoring her team-leading third goal of the
season in the 80th minute to even the score for the
Bulldogs.
Tyser scored on a sliding kick on a cross feed from tri-captain
Tricia Spada (Dedham, MA).
Katie Mitchell (Deer Park, NY) made two saves
for Bryant in the first half, while Jessica Clark
(Barnstable, MA) stopped three shots in the second half
and overtime, earning the decision.
Post's Maria Sonnerborg scored the game's first goal at the 7:48
mark, heading a lead pass from Melissa Pascarella into the far
corner.
The Bulldogs (2-0-1) will take on Georgian Court Sunday at noon,
in day two of the Garden Inn Friendly in Worcester, MA.
