BRYANT FALLS TO LASALLE, 5-0,

PHILADELPHIA - The Bryant University field hockey team suffered
another tough outing Tuesday afternoon, falling, 5-0, to LaSalle
University at DeVincent Field.
The Bulldogs (1-7) were outshot by LaSalle, 20-6, in the loss,
while the Explorers (3-6) also won the shots on goal tally, 10-3.
Bryant's shots were scattered across the team, with juniors
Kelly Frantz (Southbury, Conn.), Caitlan
Johnson (Walpole, Mass.) and Danielle Moody
(Gorham, Maine) each registering a shot on goal.
Junior goalkeeper Kundayi Mawema (Harare,
Zimbabwe) and freshman Jennifer Gullotti (Waltham,
Mass.) split time between the pipes, recording four and
five saves each, respectively.
The Bulldogs will stay on the road for their next contest, when
they take on Colgate University in a 1 p.m. matchup on Saturday,
September 27.
