BRYANT WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYS SACRED HEART TO SCORELESS TIE ON
THE ROAD
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Sophomore goalkeeper Kelsi Jacob (Mahwah,
N.J.) made six saves in between the pipes for the Bryant
University women's soccer team as the Bulldogs tied Sacred Heart,
0-0, Sunday afternoon in Fairfield, Conn.
Meghan Reichelt also grabbed six saves in net for the Pioneers,
who stand at 5-3-3 overall, while the Bulldogs move to 3-7-2
overall and 1-0-1 in Northeast Conference play. Bryant opened NEC
action on Friday with a 3-0 victory over visiting Fairleigh
Dickinson.

Sophomore Jennifer Harding
(Lancaster, Mass.) paced the Bulldogs on offense with
three shots in the game while two of those strikes were on goal.
For the home squad, Amanda Stiles led all players with four shots
in the contest as the Pioneers outshot the Bulldogs by a margin of
13-12.
A total of 11 players went the distance for the two lineups as
five Bulldogs played all 110
minutes for the team's third shutout of the 2010 campaign. The
clubs drew even in the battle for corner kicks at 4-4.
The Black and Gold return to conference action on Friday, Oct. 8
when they play host to Robert Morris at 3:00
