LOWELL, MASS. - Bryant women's soccer drops to UMass Lowell in the 85th minute of Thursday's game. With tonight's loss, the Bulldogs will not be hosting the first round of the America East playoffs on Sunday.

"We created some very good chances in both halves and defended well tonight. If we continue to create scoring chances of this quality, we'll score the goals that will put us over the top."

Key Moment

• Lowell's Kaitlyn Tung got the ball into the 18 where Naomi Sadler was able to chest it back to the turf. River Hawk Gaby Eckroth was able to gain possession and set up a perfect shot for Marissa Saucedo to score the only goal of the game.

• By winning Thursday's game, UMass Lowell will host the first round of tournament play on Sunday. 

• The River Hawks recognized their five graduating seniors before kickoff.

• Goalkeeper Selena Negron played the full 90 minutes and made four saves.

• Bryant finished with 18 shots, UMass Lowell had 10.

• With their performance against the River Hawks, the Bulldogs received the #5  seed in the America East playoffs. UML is #4.
