Djokovic and Pistrin Named to The America East All-Academic Team

BOSTON, MA -- Bryant University swimmers Uros Djokovic and Elayna Pistrin were named to the America East All-Academic Team; the league announced Wednesday.

Senior Elayna Pistrin comes off a stellar America East performance, riding a consistent performance of top-three finishes against Holy Cross, Providence, Fairfield, and Binghamton on the regular season before securing silver in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:02.81) before going on to win the 200-yard breaststroke (2:15.80). Pistrin was apart of the 200-yard medley relay team at the America East Championship.

Uros Djokovic would have a remarkable graduate season for the Black and Gold. Djokovic played a key role in the team's success at the America East Championships. He helped set a program record in the 800-yard freestyle relay and secured a top-10 finish in the 500-yard freestyle. Djokovic was also part of another record-breaking 800-yard freestyle relay that finished second.
