Bryant defeats Dayton, 7-4, on Sunday

DAYTON, Ohio – Gavin Noriega, Zac Zyons and Charlie Saul all homered as the Bryant baseball team earned a 7-4 victory over Dayton on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Bulldogs improve to 5-7-1 overall with the victory. Bryant returns to the diamond on Tuesday when it visits in-state rival URI.
 
On Sunday, Noriega and Zyons each hit two-run home runs, while Saul added a key insurance run with a solo home run in the top of the ninth. Noriega drove in two and scored three times, while Zyons finished with three RBI. Saul had two hits and scored twice.
 
The trio of Sean Zaslaw, Bradley Lewis and Brooks Ey combined to toss 4.1 scoreless innings of two-hit relief to close the door.
