SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant baseball team returns to America East play this weekend as it travels to Vestal, N.Y., for a three-game series with Binghamton. 

The weekend schedule is TBD based off of weather forecasts. Currently, the series is set to open on Friday afternoon at 12:00 p.m.

Bryant enters the weekend at 2-4 in league play, while Binghamton is 5-4. The Bulldogs have played just two games in the last 12 days due to a bye weekend and weather.

• Bryant will shuffle its rotation as it heads into the third weekend of league play. Michael Belcher bumps up to Friday, while Clay Robbins will get the ball Saturday and Luke Delongchamp shifts to Sunday. 
• The Bulldogs started the shuffle last weekend with their single game against New Haven as Delongchamp got the Sunday start. 
• Belcher is 1-0 with a 4.60 ERA in seven appearances (six starts) this season. He's struck out 33 and issued just six walks in 29.1 innings.
• In two league starts, Belcher has allowed six runs on 10 hits in 8.0 innings. He turned in one of his best starts of the year at UMass Lowell, allowing two runs on four hits over 5.0 innings.
• Robbins is also 1-0 and holds a 5.26 ERA in 25.2 innings. The veteran lefty has struck out 24 and walked 10. Robbins posted his best start of the year at UMass Lowell, limiting the River Hawks to three singles over 5.0 scoreless innings.
• Delongchamp is 0-3 with a 5.95 ERA in 19.2 innings this spring. He has struck out 22 and issued just seven walks but teams are hitting .295 off of him. 
• Last season, Delongchamp held Binghamton to just one run on four hits over 6.0 innings to earn the victory. 
• The Bearcats' rotation last weekend against UMBC featured Ryan Packard, Hayden Tarsia and Vincent Luther. Colin Rhein, who has made six starts, did not make an appearance last weekend.
• Packard, a transfer from Dayton, has had mixed results this season, posting a 6.31 ERA in 35.2 innings. He allowed just three runs (two earned) over his first three starts of the season but has allowed five or more runs in four of his last five starts. He allowed seven runs on eight hits in 2.2 innings last week at UMBC.
• Tarsia has served many roles for the Bearcats in his career and comes into the weekend with a 2-2 record and a 7.46 ERA in nine appearances (three starts). He has struck out 25 and issued just eight walks. Tarsia started game three last year vs Bryant, allowing three runs on seven hits over 3.0 innings.
• Luther allowed one run on four hits over 3.0 innings in a game Binghamton won 14-1 last weekend at UMBC. On the year, he's posted a 3.29 ERA in 13.2 innings.

Bryant vs. Binghamton

• Bryant owns a 6-3 lead in the all-time series with Binghamton, sweeping the weekend series in Smithfield last spring. 
• The Bulldogs earned 10-3, 10-2 and 7-2 victories last year at Conaty Park. Bryant is now 5-1 at home vs the Bearcats.
• Binghamton won the only series played in Vestal in 2023, winning 16-1 and 6-4. Bryant won the middle game, 6-4.

• Bryant is 12-15-1 overall and 2-4 in America East play this year. The Bulldogs have dropped league series to UAlbany and UMass Lowell.
• The Bulldogs are hitting .255 with 60 doubles and 24 home runs, while pitching to a 5.35 ERA. Bryant pitchers have struck out 247 batters in 233.2 innings.
• In conference play, Bryant is hitting .261 but has a team ERA of 7.28. 
• Brandyn Durand is hitting .315 with six home runs and 26 RBI, while Gavin Noriega has nine doubles and 26 RBI.
