SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant baseball team hits the road for the rest of April as it begins a five-game road trip with a Wednesday afternoon trip to regional rival Sacred Heart. First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m.
Bryant will follow with a weekend series at UAlbany before wrapping up the month of April at Stonehill (Apr. 30).

Bryant vs. Sacred Heart
- Bryant and Sacred Heart quickly built a rivalry when the Bulldogs joined the Northeast Conference in 2009.
- The Bulldogs and Pioneers met 51 times from 2009-2022, with the Bulldogs going 34-17.
- Bryant and SHU met in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 NEC Championship Round, with the Black and Gold winning in 2013 and 2014.
- Bryant earned a 10-4 victory on March 25 at Conaty Park and have won each of the last seven games. It is the longest winning streak for either team in the series.

- Bryant is 5-2 in midweek games this year and is hitting .274 with a 3.94 staff ERA. Bryant pitchers have limited opponents to a .215 average (51 hits in 64.0 innings).
- Brandyn Durand is hitting .414 in midweek contests, going 12-for-29 with 13 RBI. Gavin Noriega leads Bryant with 15 RBI in midweek contests.
