SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Five Bryant baseball pitchers combined to strikeout 14 and
Shea Grady's sixth-inning two-run double proved to be the difference as the Bulldogs earned a 4-2 victory over New Haven on Sunday afternoon at Conaty Park.
The Bulldogs improve to 12-15-1 overall with the win. Bryant heads to regional rival UConn on Tuesday afternoon.

Toby Scheidt and
Landon White combined set down 14 Chargers via way of the strikeout. Delongchamp and Rizy each struck out five, with Rizy earning his second win of the season.
Grady finished with two hits, including his big two-run double, to pace the Bryant offense.

- With Bryant trailing 2-1 in the sixth, Grady hit a deep drive to left that hit the top of the wall and brought home two to give the Bulldogs a 3-2 lead.
How it Happened
- Drew Wyers got the scoring started on Sunday, delivering a sac fly in the bottom of the first.
- New Haven would score the next two runs with two-out RBI singles in the third and fifth inning.
- In the sixth, Wyers and Brandyn Durand both walked but were still there with two outs. Grady then drove a fastball to left that hit the very top of the fence. Wyers scored easily from second while Durand motored around from first to score ahead of the relay.
- Eliot Medlock doubled in the seventh and came around to score on a Matt D'Amato sac fly to provide an insurance run.
