  • UMBC tied the game in the second on a home run from Leewood Molessa.
  • In the top of the third, Saul singled to start the inning and Papetti hit an 0-2 breaking ball deep to left to make it 3-1.
  • In the fourth, Medlock walked and came all the way around to score as Gavin Greger's single to right got by the outfielder and rolled to the wall. Papetti then stepped to the plate and hammered another two-run home run to make it 6-1.
