SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant volleyball team continued to their hot stretch on Tuesday night, recording their fifth consecutive win in a sweep of the New Haven Chargers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- SET 1 – The first set proved to be the toughest for the Bulldogs, prevailing 25-23 over the Chargers. Bryant pulled ahead 10-7 as Arianna Ugolini and London Hunt recorded a kill, Ruth Ochelli added a pair, and Natalie Ricevuto notched a service ace. Bryant then scored 6 consecutive points to take the 17-10 lead, highlighted by a pair of service aces from Madison Koeller. The Bulldogs continued to extend their lead, going up 23-19 as Brookelyn Talmadge tallied a pair of kills and a solo block, Natalie Ricevuto and London Hunt each added a kill, and Arianna Ugolini recorded a service ace. The Chargers stayed alive however, rattling off a 4-0 run to tie the score at twenty-three a piece. The Bulldogs regrouped and finished off the first set with kills from Madison Koeller and London Hunt to secure the 25-23 victory.
- SET 2 – The Bulldogs raced out to a 10-2 lead to open the second set. Natalie Ricevuto piled up a trio of kills, Arianna Ugolini, Maeve Voltz, and Ruth Ochelli each added one and Claudia Camacho-Castro capped it off with a service ace. The Bulldogs continued to stay in front, taking a commanding 19-6 lead, as Nina Gavin chipped in a kill then Arianna Ugolini added another and Madison Koeller notched another service ace. Bryant cruised to an easy 25-11 second set win as London Hunt and Ruth Ochelli combined for a block and added three kills combined to put Bryant up 2-0 in sets.
- SET 3 – The momentum from the previous two sets carried over for Bryant heading into the third, leading to a 25-15 win. It began with a 5-0 run for the Bulldogs as London Hunt and Arianna Ugolini each added a pair of kills. The Chargers responded by going on a 7-0 run to take the 7-5 lead. Bryant then pulled ahead 11-9, receiving a pair of kills each from Arianna Ugolini and Natalie Ricevuto. The Bulldogs proceeded to distance themselves from the Chargers, going on an impressive 12-5 run to take a commanding 23-14 lead and close in on the first set. Ruth Ochelli chalked up a pair of kills, and Arianna Ugolini, Natalie Ricevuto, London Hunt, and Maeve Voltz each chipped in with a kill. The Chargers handed the Bulldogs the final two points with a service and an attack error to seal the sweep for Bryant at home.
