- This is the first match-up between the Bulldogs and Minutemen with UMass in the FBS, but the second all-time match-up. Bryant and UMass faced off in 2008, with UMass earning a 42-7 victory.
Bulldogs Notes and Notables
- Michael Otty was dominant against the Aggies, posting his first career multi-sack game. He now has 13 in his career with the Bulldogs.
- Azarel Juste hauled in his first career interception on Saturday. He also added a tackle for loss against New Mexico State.
- Tristen Riley and Aldrich Doe established themselves as the number one and number two receivers last weekend, both tallying five receptions. The mark tied a career-high for Riley and was a CH for Doe. Doe also led all receivers with 54 yards, which was also a CH.
- Brandon Perkins and Lonnie Rice were all over the field on Saturday. Perkins led all defenders with six tackles, and Rice tallied five. This was his eighth game as a Bulldog with at least five tackles.
- Bryce Soli nailed a 43-yarder in the first half, which was a career-high. This is the second 40+ yard FG of his career.

- UMass heads into Saturday with a 0-1 record after falling to Temple 42-10 last weekend.
- Rocko Griffin led the way for UMass on Saturday, tallying a team-high 94 yards on the ground and scoring a touchdown.
- Jacqoun Gibson recorded 12 receptions for 132 yards, both team-highs against the Owls.
- Derrieon Craig had a team-high eight tackles, with David Onuba and Timmy Himspeter not far behind with seven tackles apiece.
