SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Seniors Jasmine Trott and Chloe Whiting ran together and won the women's 5k race in the 2025 Shawn M. Nassaney XC Invitational. The dynamic duo both finished with a time of 17:54.20. The two were the only women's runners to complete the race in under 18 minutes, a second year in a row for Trott. Casey Curran rounded out the top five for Bryant, giving the edge needed to secure the win. Aiden Masse finished in the top 10 in the men's 5k with a time of 16:01.10.

The women's team won the Nassaney Invitational for the second time in program history, their last win was in 2022. The men's team also had a top three performance; finishing third.
