SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant baseball team heads to Lowell, Mass., for a three-game series with the River Hawks. The series is set to begin on Friday (March 29) with a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m. The final game of the series will be determined based off weather.

Bryant opened America East play last weekend, dropping 2-of-3 to UAlbany. UMass Lowell lost 2-of-3 at UMBC two weekends ago.

• Bryant's weekend rotation will be working on short rest due to the change in scheduling. Luke Delongchamp looks to get on track Friday as he not pitched past the fourth inning this year.
• He allowed five runs on seven hits in 3.1 innings last Friday vs UAlbany and owns a 4.97 ERA. He has thrown just 12.2 total innings in six starts.
• Michael Belcher leads the Bulldogs with 28 strikeouts in 24.1 innings. He worked just 3.0 innings last Saturday vs UAlbany.
• Clay Robbins has struck out 19 in 19.2 innings. He's allowed four runs or more in each of his last three starts.
• UML will likely start Alfred Mucciarone and Brendan Holland in two of the three games. Mucciarone has posted a 5.97 ERA but has 28 strikeouts and just seven walks in 28.2 innings. Mucciarone has 18 strikeouts and just one walk over his last three starts.
• Holland has 26 strikeouts and just seven walks in 28.2 innings. He has allowed three runs or less in each of his last two starts, including a seven-strikeout performance at UMBC.
